Mick’s a funny dude, man. He knew I wanted to post a rare track (how many of your “heads” own My Word?), so he slid over one of his joints from the My Word album, that features (*drumroll please*) the FSD fan favorite, Yung Berg.
What do the commenteers (er…not a word) have to say about this one? Speak on it!
Guess who’s starting to get popular around here? Sir Lungz. I’ve been answering dude’s fanmail a lot lately (cut the check!), on some Tiger Beat shit. But with the fans, along comes the haters (in droves). Lungz addressing them here (Is he talking to you Yakbar? Hunneds?)
In other FSD news, I’ve received a gaggle of emails and G-Chat “bloops” over the past 24 hours alerting me of an impostor site at the www.fakeshoredrive.com address. No, I’m not being extorted (yet?), and I haven’t been Treated – I’m just in the process of switching servers and leaving Blogger (Calling Master P – I need a dedication) for greener pastures at WordPress (is it already played too?)
So within the next few days (hopefully), I’ll be a fully functioning website, with my own server (fake?), and free of the blogspot monkey that’s been haunting my dreams. So please bare with me – I promise I’m not going anywhere. We made it!!! (not yet)
Also, my logo could use some sprucing up, so if any of you larry’s are proficient in graphic design, holler at your boy – Ain’t shit changed!
I tried to post the trailer for this song earlier this morning, but that myspace embed code was f’ed the f up and wouldn’t work on blogger. Prime, Que BILLAH and KRS-One got together a few months back when the Teacher was in town to record this Grant Parks-produced banger.
You’ve heard about this song for months, now it’s finally here.
You may remember the production duo of Nez & Rio from a weeks back when I posted a freestyle they laced for Naledge. Well these Howard University students, by way of Chicago, are back and they present to us their new artist, PS.
Here’s a little teaser slideshow done by Da Visionaryz in preparation for Mikkey Halsted’s “Liquor Store” video, which they are directing. The shoot is going down within the next few weeks, so you know FSD will be there to get some behind-the-scenes footage. But for now, get familiar with the song – and oh yeah, the third verse is included.
So I can’t front, I wasn’t familiar with Roche prior to hearing this, since he reps the Bay Area and all. But since it features Pugs and Wes, I had to mess with it – turns out I like it – his production is nice.
From Roche’s Solos In Stereo II, dropping in July.
