Cover Art for Lungz’ A Breath of Fresh Air Mixtape

| June 16, 2008 | 0 Comments

Hustle just shot over the cover art for Lungz’ upcoming mixtape, A Breath of Fresh Air, which is tentatively scheduled for a June 27th release date. The album is currently undergoing the final mixdown, courtesy of Cosm Roks, so stay tuned for more joints popping up on FSD.

Lungz has been putting in a lot of hard work lately, so I’m thrilled to hear about this project and some other exciting ventures he has going on. Also, as an added bonus we have a track from said mixtape – the Trackgunnaz-produced, “Back Door”.

Brand new Pugslee Atomz, produced by Grant Parks. Apparently, Pugs and Grant are working on a full-length project together, so be on the lookout for that.

GLC – "Ridin' By Yourself"

The Trailblazerz MPC seem to have an unlimited supply of tracks they’ve cranked out with Gangsta L Crisis. So just for good measures, here’s another one. Oh and this is an exclusive, so leeches, please credit. Thanks in advance.

Question to Flux: Did you and GLC crank out a whole album together, or what?

Sidenote: Is “Ridin’ By Yourself” kind of like dancing by yourself? Word to Billy Idol, one of the biggest gangsta’s of all time.

Mick Luter + Big Wiz + Rashid Hadee = The United Centa

Happy Monday, people. I figured I’d kick things off today with a super exclusive FSD world premiere from the newly formed supergroup, The United Centa. Representing the Westside of the ‘Go, Mick Luter, Big Wiz and Rashid Hadee make up this unique collective of unified spitters.

As Mick Luter puts it, The United Centa is “going to show the Chi a unified effort”. He also eloquently states, “If we’re going to the same place we might as well ride in the same car”

Well put, Mick.

This joint was produced by the one and only, Rashid Hadee. Look for some big things to come from this faction in the near future.

Video: Rhymefest & His Son Interview Each Other

| June 15, 2008 | 0 Comments

A Father’s Day special. In this four-part series, Rhymefest and his son, Solomon, interview each other and ask five questions they’ve always wanted answered. This went down on June 2nd at the book release party for Be A Father, in which Rhymefest is an author. Pretty entertaining stuff.  It’s nice to see an emcee show his true emotions and not be scared to get choked up when discussing family.

Parkay – "I Run This City" (Yung Berg & Cap 1 Diss)

| June 15, 2008 | 0 Comments

Parkay’s talking real greasy about Yung Berg and Cap 1 on this one.  Consider this the first shot fired.  It seems dissing Berg is the new black.

From Parkay’s upcoming mixtape.
