BCTV: Common Live in Atlanta at the 595 north from Broccolicity TV on Vimeo.

Damn, someone went ahead and basically bootlegged an entire Common concert in Atlanta the other night.  Word to Phish (huh?).

He performs a couple new tracks from UMC including “Sex 4 Sugar” and “Everywhere”, along with the rest of his arsenal.

In other Common news, apparently he narrowly missed a fatal shooting in his Barber Shop (no relation) in Ft. Greene, Brooklyn yesterday.  I thought the crime rate dropped when it got cold out?

Ivy League feat. Gutta – “Swagger Like IL”

Yes, another version of the most remade song in the history of FSD and the rest of the 2008 internets (I think this one has “A Millie” beat).  This time the League takes their respective swings, and come up with something fresh.

Video: Cold Hard (of Crucial Conflict) Speaks!

| October 28, 2008 | 0 Comments

Last night, Cold Hard, of the legendary Chicago hip hop quartet, Crucial Conflict, stopped by GLC’s listening party for his I Ain’t Even On Yet mixtape just before the evening came to a close.  You know when Cold Hard enters the building his presence is immediately felt, and last night was no exception.  After taking over the mic and dropping knowledge on the party-goers, Cold Hard was nice enough to share with us a story concerning a recent trip to pick up a female in jail, falling asleep, blowing his high and some stolen baby clothes.  Hilarity ensues.
