Cy Yung feat. Rashid Hadee & Asylum 7 – "Mayhem" (Prod. by J. Slikk)

| January 28, 2009 | 0 Comments

Here’s a slightly less than CD quality preview mixdown of J. Slikk’s latest production, “Mayhem”, which is helmed by Cy Yung and features the lyrical talents of Rashid Hadee and Asylum 7.

This is by no means the final version, but the final mix will be featured on Cy’s A Tribute To Rosie Perez, which features additional support from: The Primeridian, R.O.E., Indy Sparks, Tall Black Guy, DJ SeanDoe, J. Slikk, Pugs Atomz, Maria, and more.

iLLaNoise feat. Fab 5 '09 (Pugs Atomz, Que BILLAH, Phil G, Novakane) – "Go IL (Circa '96)"

That’s official the longest title I’ve ever typed.  Either way, this joint gets my stamp of approval.  Last week Jay iLLa brought us the “making of” video, and this week he’s dropping the first official leak from his  Revenge of the Backpack mixtape.

Here we find Chicago’s Fab 5 ’09 rework one of my all time favorite BCC tracks (and videos).

Word is Bon Jovi.

Video: USA Network Character Approved Honoree: Lupe Fiasco

I read about this in the RedEye (i.e. my free 8am news source) today on my morning commute.  Here Sean dug up the vignette the USA Network is running right now in honor of Carrera Lu.  And to think, all along I thought the USA Network was only good for running shitty Nicolas Cage movies on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  What a treat!

Congrats from your favorite leaker of your old material blogger.
