I know a lot of people swear by Tech N9ne and others claim Krayzie Bone is the fastest, but for my money, no one does it better than Twista. Yes, I’m a grown man and am still entertained by this. Sue me.
Speaking of Tech N9ne, this weekend at Rock The Bells was the first time I’ve ever really checked him out, other than that song on the Gang Related Soundtrack (remember that?), “Questions”. I thought his live set was dope, and it even increased my excitement for his collabo with Twista, “Problems”, which may or may not be on Category F5.
I’m going to give this one some time.
The first single from Conequence’s upcoming album, Cons TV.
Consequence feat. Kanye West & John Legend – “Whatever U Want”
Directed by the illustrious Noah Banks
I spy DJ RTC, Bighomie DOE, Vic Mensah, Dre and Mike Kolar who seems to be dressed up as some sorts of Vampire/Magician hybrid.
The Chicago Picasso is in stores, online and available everywhere today, so please SUPPORT.
Today, Naledge, from Kidz in The Hall, dropped his solo effort, Chicago Picasso, via Duck Down Records. To bring in the new project, he gave OKP the world premiere for this video, “Focus” (Rhymefest is on the album version). The video was directed by Noah Banks over the course of two weeks and was made from 3,000 still images and zero video footage. Watch Naledge get his stop-motion on while making his way through the streets of the Chi. Make sure to pick up Naledge’s “mix CD,” Chicago Picasso, via iTunes or Amazon.
As promised we have the brand new mixtape from the Kid Sean Mac and DJ Drama, entitled Midwest Dtox 3.0. It features a mixture of some of Drama and Mac’s favorite tracks of late including joints from Jeezy, Jay-Z, Wayne and 50 Cent, and also Chicago heavyweights such as Lupe Fiasco, Mikkey Halsted, Sly P, Bump J, Count Boss Kane, Amilcar and more.

Love the MC Lyte sample on the latest from Ko*Starz. This production sounds like Chuck Inglish Adderall, but I know it’s not him. Oh, and it features none other than Sir Michael of Rocks.
