Not to be confused with this.
Now, my Twista catalog is pretty extensive, so when I recently came across this track and had never heard of it, I was quite dumbfounded. Not to mention the fact that I’m a hip hop nerd and the album in which this appeared pretty much never existed: The Union Presents – Organized Rhymes
Yeah, me neither.
Not sure how this escaped me in 1999, when I had nothing but time to study release dates and scour CD racks at Sam Goody (remember those?), but it did. Anyone heard of this album? I’m not familiar with The Union or what they did, and information on this rare and out of print disc is basically non-existent. But if you remember at the turn of the century, indie and major labels, drug dealers, and would-be music biz entrepreneurs were dropping CDs like crazy.
You know, pre-Internets boom, back when No Limt could drop 3 albums in a month. Those were the days.
