Here’s a sneak peak of what to expect from Project Mayhem’s Mayhem Machine album, which will pose as the introduction to their official, official release Middle America (love that title, btw).
Glad they’re back with some new material, I mean it is damn near Lo Sweata weather again.

Project Mayhem – “Bars of Murdah”
Lu Lu took to the comments section of the LupE.N.D. blog to speak on his recent leak of “Fire”; which is fire, by the way. A lot of people were speculating that “Fire” was a response to Lu being left off MTV’s ‘Hottest MCs In The Game’ list. Sorry Charlie, he was off that.
Not a diss of the list…knew I wasn’t gonna make it ha!…but I’m using the fact that I wasn’t on it as an excuse to just start wrecking shit on a frequent basis so by the time the next one comes out I’ll be number 1,2,3,4 and 5…
There you have it, folks.
“If I said I’m number 1, I’m sorry I lied, I’m number 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5″
Michael Terror was also down in Atlanta for the A3C Festival last weekend. Here’s a short but dope clip of him doing “Hiiio” alongside Ray Protege (on the decks). Hopefully, we’ll have more footage to come.
Sidenote: Wait until you hear the Mic Terror + Maja 7th track for The Breakout mixtape. En fuego!
Not to be confused with the Wasalu track that was featured on the Fake Shore Drive mixtape – you know, the one that DJ Marbil did (which I heard the other day on XM Radio. Ha!)
Apparently, Lu was kinda salty that he wasn’t featured on the MTV Hottest MCs List. I guess that lit the “Fire” under his ass to release this. Pow! Either way, I’m looking for more of an explanation.
You know it wasn’t gonna be easy to clear that Jimi sample anyway.

If you’re reading, we need more music from you bro.
How about some good ol’ fashioned graffiti for a change. This was actually the element of Hip-Hop that I excelled at the most. Too bad it’s become somewhat of a lost form to most – and I’ve been too big of a nervous nelly to participate over the last decade. Color me yellow. However, I do enjoy when I see it on various rooftops and locations around the city when I’m on the train. What I’s gonna say, I was on the train.

Ever wonder where your favorite artists Pimp Cup came from? One might assume the answer is “the back of The Source”, a’la the one my brother got me for Christmas back in 2004 with my initials on it. Actually, the majority of these
big gulp pimp cups are made right here in the Chi, by a nice woman named Debbie The Glass Lady. She’s done cups for Lil Jon (including this one), Snoop Dogg, Twista, the Bishop Don Magic Juan, and a whole slew of others.
She even leaves her number at the end just in case you want to
prank call her order one.
What’s up with that mic Seandale? Pow!
Props to Paul John, who shot the clip.

A snippet of this track was featured on Lungz’ mixtape, A Breath of Fresh Air, which dropped some time ago. I’m waiting on that damn follow up – as I’m sure you are too. Well, the folks at Glacier City were nice enough to slide over the full, unreleased version. I guess this beat was also nabbed up by Nipsey Hussle, and it’s to be featured on his next mixtape as well. That’s a nice look for the TrackGunnaz.
Anyhoo, Lungz has a new project set to drop at the top of the year featuring production from DJ Monky, Panic and Swift. I’ll be sure to keep you up to date on that. But for now, enjoy Motivation.

Congrats to Really D. Williams for landing #8 on the iTunes Hip Hop chart this week. First Impressions scored a re-release this past week, and the results have been stellar. Props to Really for doing so well on an indie project.
He & GLC just had a show out in Cali last weekend in front of 20,000 heads, so look for some video footage of that to surface shortly.
