Thank God this is over Nas’ instead of Jay’z. I’m over that one at this point.
Off Mike’s upcoming mixtape, Nothing’s Equivalent…to a Chi State of Mind. Dropping November 30th.
DJ Mike Caliberz feat. Reno Chinati, Amilcar, A-List & Carona Bone – “Chicago State of Mind”
MTV Jams Presents: Chicago Day. This Friday (11/27). All Chicago. All Day.
Your favorite Chicago videos, past and present, will be running ALL DAY this coming Friday – the day after Thanksgiving.
We’ve been working extremely hard on this, so please make sure you support. If this takes off, we can make this a yearly tradition. I know what’s running, and trust me, if you’re a fan of Chicago music, you’re going to love this.
A huge shout out to Tuma and the staff at MTV Jams for making this happen. I’ll be posting more info everyday this week.
This video is shaping up to be something serious. No Big Mike.
Full clip coming soon, courtesy of Leondotcom.
I hope this isn’t old news by now (you’ve gotta move fast on these internets), but Lupe’s collabo with the guy who owns Sean Jean sprung a leak this evening. I swear Raekwon’s remix of “Angels” dropped today as well, no?
And to further shake up the internets, Lupe announced via his Twitter page that his mixtape is going to be titled Enemy of the State: A Love Story. I’m trying to wrap my head around the title (NHJIC?), and I’m not sure where he’s going with it, or what it means. Does it mean Illinois hates him, but he still has love for the state? I probably just need some sleep.
