“What up, I’m Freddie Gibbs and I’m an addict”
Freddie Gibbs & producer Maja 7th check in live from Gary, IN in front of Freddie’s Grandmother’s house on the set of “On My Own”, featuring Mikkey Halsted. We even have a few snippets of the finished product for your viewing pleasure.
The video, brought to you by Brandon “N2ition” Riley and FSD, is officially a wrap and will be dropping next week. It will serve as the first release from the Maja 7th & FSD project entitled The Breakout.
Look for The Breakout to be impacting soon, featuring appearances from Freddie Gibbs, Mikkey Halsted, Pill, Naledge, GLC, L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Mic Terror, Juice, Pugs Atomz, Mick Luter, YP and more…
These guys, One Chance, are signed to T-Pain’s Nappy Boy Entertainment. The clip features everyone throwing their middle fingers up (get it?) and has everyone singing in auto-tune except T-Pain. At least I think – I’m not even sure what’s going on anymore.
“A cloudy day in the Chi, I was downtown gettin’ my license”

Off DJ MoonDawg’s Midwest Kush 2, which drops Friday night at 10pm, during MD’s WGCI show. Expect another leak from the mixtape tonight at midnight.
Here is 1 of 2 songs I’m releasing off Midwest Kush 2. I got two of the most underrated emcees in the game to jump on a Weed Smokers Anthem record!
This mixtape has a bunch of world premiers and exclusives that only I was able to pull off.
Bloggers Note: I didn’t think/know Naledge smoked like that?

Damn, Freddie’s been on a radio terror while out in NYC. Tony Touch, Kay Slay and this morning Angela Yee. He stopped by her Shade 45 morning show earlier today with Cali emcee Jay Rock, and they blessed her with some off-the-dome bars. Gangsta rap ain’t dead it just moved to the web.
Oh yeah, this is over Beanie Sigel’s “Not Your Average Cat”

A dope video shot by CW. ‘Fest goes acapella over one of my favorite tracks from him, “Exodus 5.1″
I’ve got ONE pair, that’s right, one purr, of tickets to see Ludacris and Wale at the Sprite Step Off at the Regal Theater on Saturday (January 23rd), courtesy of the good folks at Coca-Cola. The show is completely sold out, so this is one of the only ways you’re getting in if you don’t already have tix.
To win, you must be the first person to shoot me an email with the subject line: Sprite Step Off and answer this question correctly:
Keeping in the theme of “dancing”, what dance “group” did Ludacris recently sign to DTP?
The tickets will be available at will-call at the Regal on Saturday from 4-6 p.m.
More details on the event:
