Friday night’s incident at the Wild Hare with Big Sean and the infamous Mic Snatcher is easily the most talked about event in Chicago right now.  For the past 48 hours all I’ve heard about is Hustle Simmons and his Goldberg-esque spear  of the Chicago Mic Snatcher , who has now been revealed as an artist by the name of Capital Killa. 

Being the trendsetters that they are, Timbuck2 and DJ MoonDawg were able to track down Capital K for an exclusive interview on Go ILL Radio last night on WGCI.  Hilarity ensues.

Besides being put on the hot seat by Tim and MoonDawg for a hilarious Q&A, they also offer up a David Letterman-style “Top 10 Things Capital K was thinking as he was on his way to the ground”segment.  LULZ!

I swear there were about 5 different video shoots in Chicago last night,  including this clip for the Big Sean + GLC + Chip Tha Ripper collaboration “Okay”, which was featured on Sean’s last mixtape.

Here we have some behind the scenes footage from the backstage backdrop at the Wild Hare before and after Big Sean’s set melee.

As you can see from the video, G.O.O.D. Music was definitely in the building.

Last night in Chicago, Big Sean headlined a concert at the Wild Hare and had his very own Lil Mama/Taylor Swift moment.  An angry concert-goer, who claimed he was to perform earlier in the evening – but was snubbed – snatched the microphone out of Sean’s hand, and was abruptly tossed off stage, as if his name was Prince Be , by the host Hustle Simmons.

The storm-stager, who I’m unfamiliar with, took a spill into the angry crowd, caught a couple licks and ran out the front door.

I honesty thought the storm-stager was part of the show and was someone from Big Sean’s Finally Famous camp, who was going to do a joint or two during Sean’s set.  Not the case.  This guy just ran up on stage, grabbed the mic, shouted “F*** everyone in here”, and hurled the mic into the crowd.

The Wild Hare shut the show down shortly thereafter, but not before Sean did a couple joints for the disgruntled crowd, including “Getcha Some” and “Lemonade”.

Shouts to Chicago’s TMZ, Bobby Rocwell, who was on hand to film, and Zonedout Media.  It was wild.
