Okay I’m not even from Chicago, so don’t call me a “typical Chicago hater”. After listening to this mixtape on Rockie’s website, I’m just offering some constructive criticism — he has talent, no doubt about it, but his delivery sounds too much like Drake’s (minus the no singing part). I haven’t seen any of his videos yet, but I’m hoping he doesn’t use Drake’s handmotions too.
Cant wait to see this dude perform @ Reggies….so I can introduce him to the Corporate Thug Life bang session by tossing fireworks and M80s on stage while his gay ass is attempting to rap. I agree with some of the criticism Corporate Thug laid out but his goof ass shouldnt threaten no lil kid. Yea the shit is quality and yes he has a way to go. Encourage the lil guy. I’m glad to see our city unify to support all this music. From GLC, to Lungz, to Mick Luter, to YP, to now Rockie, and next Mikkey. There has been some good music comin out the city. Lets be proud and continue to grow.

First off I’m not from chicago but i got fam there and pay attention to whats comin outa the city. This dude just don’t got it. I feel like its all being forced unnatural like his whole team is just trying to trunk the public and make this dude seem cool. I had the chance to meet rockie and i have to give him credit for his demeanor. the man is extremely humble and appreciates all support. In terms of the project, lyrically it is very strong and the production is top notch. that being said there is too much auto-tune on the hooks. I’m not feeling the autotune at all but outside of the hooks its a solid piece of work. way to rep the chi
