Onis – Est. 86
Stay Humble artist Onis drops yet another joint from his On The Contrary Vol. 2 mixtape, which is due out in two weeks. I’m a sucker for anything that samples Patrice Rushen’s “Where There Is Love,” most notably the Mobb’s “Temperatures Rising.”
In other Onis news, the young MC has been gaining a lot of attention from various White Sox players over his ode to their esteemed fitteds. Check out the video for “White Sox Fitted” here and see the chatter form the various Sox players below the cut.

Tia London x Mikkey Halsted – Only One 4 Me [Prod. by Traxster]
Tia and Traxster dropped their collaborative Love Junkie project yesterday, but I felt one record in particular needed some extra shine, and that is “Only One 4 Me,” featuring Mr. Halsted.
This record just further cements that there’s something serious going on with Trax and Mikkey right now. Looking forward to hearing what they’ve been cooking up.

Video: Yung Berg – What Would Pac Do [BTS]
While on set of his video for “WWPD” (What Would Pac Do), Berg talks about what his Reality Check project meant to him and the process behind crafting the record.
Expect the video to impact soon.
Skooda Chose – Top 5 MCs
Over a cold Kanye sample, The Chosen MC states his case for being one of the Top 5 dead or alive. But more than that, he’s paying homage to the greats and urging young MCs to do their knowledge on the culture.
Off Skooda’s The Prelude mixtape.

Tennille f/ Big Wiz & Mick Luter – Pocket Fulla Cabbage [Prod. by SC]
The lovely 10iller is dropping a project in conjunction with FSD entitled, I Moved To Chicago For A Lil While, where she’ll be doing her thing over all original Chicago production. She’ll be doing joints with some of the best in the Chi, so stay tuned for that. This is the first leak, and she takes it out west with Fatboi and Luter. Enjoy and keep your eyes peeled from more from Tennille.

King Louie f/ 2 Chainz & Red Cafe – Too Cool (Remix)
Quite possibly the hottest record in Chicago gets the remix treatment, featuring verses from 2 Chainz and Red Cafe. You’ve heard the original, now Louie takes it up a few notches with some help from the East Coast and Down South.
Today also marks the announcement of Louie singing with John Monopoly & Larro Wilson’s Lawless Inc. indie label, which will release Louie’s Dope & Shrimp album in January in conjunction with FLY ENT.
From the Chicago Tribune to Pitchfork, everyone is talking about Louie, so if you’re late, you may want to jump on the bandwagon now.
