Those who’ve closely followed The Legendary Traxster’s career know that he started off as one half of the Chicago group, D 2 Tha S. You may also remember that in the late-90s, Trax was in a group with fellow producer/emcee Toxic, called Shock The World.
Those who purchased Twista & The Speedknot Mobstaz Mobstability album, might remember the “Coming Soon” promo in the CD case–with a pic that didn’t actually feature Trax or Tox.
Well, for whatever reason the album never saw the light of day. Diehards have harassed Traxster for years to release the project, but being owned by Atlantic makes it a bit tricky. I really loved the music Trax and the crew were making in 98, so it’s something I’ve longed to hear for years. Well, wait no further as Trax just cut loose one leak from the project over on his blog.
I highly recommend keeping an eye over there as he also just released an unreleased DA Smart record for 2000. Good things come to those who wait. 13 years.
