Two of Chicago’s hottest and most critically acclaimed artists pair up for the ferocious “Wrestlemania.” I knew it was only a matter of time before these two joined forces, and today they made it a reality. They might as well do an album together.
Louie, fresh from a trip LA (where he got this card), links with the young gunner Chief Keef, who contributes his patented ad-libs to the track. Perhaps there’s a bigger movement brewing between these two factions? We shall see–but for now, get in the ring.
For four nights, T-Mobile & Google Music hosted me as a guest at their T-Mobile Presents Google Music party at the pop-up TAO nightclub during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The event boasted tons of celebs that partied hard until 5am every morning, so yeah, there was a lot of fun to be had. But the real story here is the indie acts that performed early in the evening each night.

Most of these artists will be the faces of Google Music, and will be partnering with this new service to further push their their product through Google’s monstrous platform.
A source close to Def Jam has informed me that the tentative first single from the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation is to be “Lamborghini, Murci.” The track, which was produced by Phoenix-based producer Lifted, is set to feature Kanye West, Pusha T and Big Sean.

After lending his production talents to Wayne’s hit “John”, Berg is preparing to lock back in with Mr. Carter for his sequel to 2010’s I Am Not A Human Being. Word has it that Berg has also been working with Meek Mill, Raekwon, Fred The Godson, Cory Gunz and a few others. With their last collaboration being as good as it was, I’m definitely ready to hear what they have cooked up.
