Freddie Gibbs & DJ Drama To Release Gangsta Grillz Mixtape
Yes, you read that correctly — with the assistance of DJ Drama, Gangsta Gibbs is gearing up to release his own Gangsta Grillz entitled Baby Face Killa. No word on when it’s scheduled to drop, but I would it expect it to impact sooner than later.
Maybe we’ll get to hear that “Itchin’” remix that he’s featured on. Stay tuned.
Tree – Sunday School: The Samples
Being that I’m a bit of sample hound, I figured that it was only right that I begin to provide everyone with playlists featuring the samples used on some of the projects that we offer for download here at FSD.
Tree’s Sunday School is definitely one of my favorite projects that’s been released this year, so it was only right to kick things off with a playlist for it. Tree has crafted his own sound with his rugged sample-based production and the self-produced Sunday School is the perfect introduction into his world. As a bonus, I even included the sample from Chance The Rapper’s Tree-produced “Hey Ma”.
Stream via Spotify below and download Sunday School if you haven’t already.
Lil Reese – Haters
Produced by Dibent
Something different from Reese. Off his forthcoming I Don’t Like: The Mixtape, which is due out in the next two weeks. Featuring a slick little Kells sample.

Video: Skooda Chose f/ Co-Still – Uncle Remus
Directed by Stunna Reese
The Chosen One and Co-Still use the Westside’s most famous friend chicken spot as a metaphor for, well, you know. Take a trip out West with Skooda and Co.
Chance The Rapper – Hey Ma
Produced by Tree.
Originally featured in a promotional video for the 10 Day listening event in November, this version (which differs from the album version) of Chance’s popular track finally sees the light of the day.
Be sure to check out the promotional vid for Chance’s second listening event below, also.

Video: Spenzo – Do This All Night
Directed by DGainz. Young Chop on the beat.
16 year-old Spenzo is finishing up his U Ain’t Spenzo project, and today he drops another clip. It’s shiny, glossy and is some of Gainz’ best work as a director.
John Blu – Take It There
Something new from the AAU Records fam — the return of John Blu. He took it there.

Stalley – Live At Blossom [Prod. By Soundtrakk]
Chicago’s own Soundtrakk provides the backdrop for track twelve from Stalley’s Savage Journey To The American Dream, which is definitely worth checking out as Soundtrakk provides production for another track also.
