BucketFeet, the only footwear company based in Chicago, is releasing their first pair of shoes designed by a hometown artist: Jesse Greene — better known as Dense83. Bucketfeet has taken the idea of an artist shoe collaboration, and made it the focal point of the brand. Their most recent creations feature work by artists from Oakland, Chicago, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. They’re also currently cultivating new styles by artists from Paris, San Francisco, Mexico City, Nigeria and Colombia. They’re always looking for new talent so please get in touch with them if you are interested in guest-designing some shoes.
The Turbulence’s cotton canvas ankle collars and a plush, molded, latex sock insert make them some of the most comfortable and unique shoes around. The Turbulence’s are available now, so head over to their spot to pick them up. Also, to read up more about Dense83, head here now.
