If you attended the Pitchfork Music Fest at Union Park on Sunday, you may have been a bit surprised to see Chief Keef and Lil Reese closing out Araab Muzik’s set with their infectious hit, “I Don’t Like.”
On Saturday, rumors began to circulate that Pitchfork was bringing Keef and Reese on as surprise guests during the Araab set, and on Sunday it became a reality. The Pitchfork crowd was somewhat confused by the duo, but were no doubt rocking with them once the “YOUNG CHOP ON THE BEAT” tag rang through the speakers.
On stage you can see Keef, Reese, and Chop, with the O.G. Jay Boogie looking on. It was a real special moment to see this happening — from relative obscurity to the main stage at Pitchfork in six months is no small feat. Gotta salute these guys.
