Posted on August 29, 2012 by Ty Howard

“Chief Keef scares me. Not him specifically, but the culture that he represents.. specifically in Chicago”

While at Baltimore’s 92Q Jams, Lu talked a bit about Rockie Fresh, Chief Keef, the city’s hip-hop scene and where it fits in the violence that takes place in Chicago.

Keef is a cockroach and represents a whole hood full of cockroaches. This problem runs deep and there is no easy fix aside from mass extermination. This obviously wouldn’t go over too well in a humane society so instead the police do not stop these cockroaches from killing each other.

Lupe speaks the truth. I admire that he doesn’t go in on Keef, but what the environment that breeds that music and what it represents.
