Depending on what side of town you live on (for the most part), Harold’s Chicken is the end all be all for fried chicken. Even out-of-towners love it, well, with the exception of Wale. But while Harold’s has been mentioned ad nauseum in rap songs from local to global, this here is a true anthem for the Chicken King. Oh, and it’s ever-famous mild sauce.

I like this song. It reminds me alot of what I did with “Go-Ill State of Mind.” The usage of our local institutions like Harold’s, Uncle Remus or even Kenwood Liquors as a uniting force to paint a picture of the city. Good or bad, this is our Chicago.
