A few weeks back, Revolt TV descended upon Chicago to film a handful of segments in different pockets of the city. Kenny Burns and crew popped up everywhere from Exclusive to the FSD Headquarters to Lumen. They linked with a handful of artists and figures while in the city, one of them being Spenzo. In the clip above, Revolt chats with Spenzo about his career, his place in hip-hop and the city of Chicago.
“History’s going on right now in Chicago,” said Spenzo, before clarifying his goal, “I stand for people just believing in themselves, staying true to themselves, not being a wannabe.”
“I wanna change the way people think. Over time, it’s gon’ happen. I might not be here, I may die and my music live on, but that’s all I wanna do,” the MC added. “I’ma change the way people think.”
