Chicago’s sweet singing soul group The O’My’s played its signature blend of blues, funk, and slow broiling jazz at Lincoln Hall this past Friday. These kids know how to make a crowd smile, blazing brass and keyboard harmonies over singer Maceo Haymes’ raspy, remarkable vocals. The best shows come from passionate performers, and we really felt the good love at this one.
Don’t miss The O’My’s around Chicago next- fingers crossed for a live hip hop collaboration at Pitchfork, North Coast, or a sweaty soul revival street festival this summer.
