Did you happen to catch HBO’s new program, Ballers, last week? Nah? Yah? Well, if you did or didn’t just know that The O’My’s had a track featured on the show. So celebrate that, ya heard?
In honor of that feat, and to kick off a few-week string of performances, The O’My’s decided to let go of this new joint titled “Something’s Changed.” And of course, they continue to change the game with each and every release. Give it a play or two below.
Fresh off their appearance on the opening scene of HBO’s hit show ‘Ballers’, The O’My’s drop off a fun loosie single to keep fans tied over until their upcoming Chicago street festival performances at Taste of River North and Wicker Park Fest in subsequent weeks. The ‘purveyors of Chicago soul’ have been plugging away in the studio working on the follow up to their critically-acclaimed Keeping The Faith EP and gearing up for what should prove to be an eventful Fall that includes a headlining show with Probcause and Justin Rose at SOB’s in NYC on July 30 just ahead of their debut at North Coast Music Festival and spot dates on the Drifters Tour with Probcause and Saba. For now, we have Maceo’s immensely soulful falsetto alongside Nick’s piano work for a stripped-down version of The O’My’s that packs just as much of a punch. Check the track out at the link above and let us know if you’d like to get in touch!
