By now you’ve surely seen and heard about Travis Scott’s legendary Lollapalooza set yesterday. The rapper showed up to his performance slot a bit tardy, but OG Chase B already had the crowd on fire — people were moshing before Trav even touched the stage.
Travis then took things 0-100 by inviting fans (er “Ragers”) to rush the stage and join him. Things escalated very quickly, and dozens and dozens of concertgoers plowed through the Perry’s Stage era to take part in the madness, hurling over barricades and fighting with security. Not even Travis could control his fans at that point and all hell broke loose.
Eventually Travis’ set was cut, and CPD stormed the stage to arrest the rapper. It was wild — so it’s no surprise it’s grabbing national headlines. Check out the near-riot above and below.
