The whole world is watching…
It’s been three long years. Three long years since Chance’s last solo project, Acid Rap, dropped. A lot has changed in these three years — most notably Chance has become the biggest rapper in Chicago — and arguably the most important rapper in the business. He put his city on his back, and has taken Chicago global. But on his terms. He’s played by his own rules and won big — a young man with the world in his hands. So what does he do with his power? His talent? Can he change the world? He’s on his way to doing just that.
So with all eyes on him, he gives us Chance 3 — a project we know very little about. Hell, we’re not even sure if that’s the real title. We have no clue who’s on the project, who produced it, who A&R’d it. But does any of that matter? At this point, shouldn’t we just trust Chance? He hasn’t steered us wrong yet. His score is pretty much perfect at this point.
So now, we can collectively digest and consume Chance 3 — an album unlike his past two (er three) — that I know absolutely nothing about. Let’s find out together below. The features are big. The album is big.
And while Acid Rap put Chance in the game, Chance 3 is taking him to the stratosphere.
