Chuck Inglish, b.k.a. one half of The Cool Kids, is set to finally drop his proper debut solo album, Convertibles, this coming Tuesday (April 8th.) Here, Chuck sat down with Revolt to talk about the recording process, and how the project took three long years to come together. Glad it’s finally hitting the shelves.

Chuck Inglish’s Convertibles LP doesn’t hit stores and digital retailers April 8th, but you can stream the entire album on Spotify now ahead of time. The retail version of Convertibles includes a brand new record, titled “H.M.U.”, which wasn’t featured on the version of the album that recently hit the faucet.

New music from Chuck Inglish is the perfect way to start the day and that’s just what we have today, thanks to Pitchfork. “Legs” is the latest single from Chuck’s upcoming Convertibles LP and features electro-funk duo Chromeo.
Chuck’s solo debut will include guest contributions from Sir Michael Rocks, Chance The Rapper, Action Bronson, BJ The Chicago Kid and many more. Excited yet? You should be. Convertibles drops April 8th via Federal Prism/Sounds Like Fun.

That’s right — The Cool Kids are back. After a brief hiatus, Chuck and Sir Mike are working on a brand new album for 2014. Chuck let the news fly via Twitter a few days ago and even revealed the title of the duo’s new project — Shark Week.
No word on when we can expect the album to drop, but it would be pretty cool if it actually dropped during shark week. We’re just glad that new music from Chuck and Mike is on the way. Stay tuned for more info.
