Sly Polaroid Prepping To Release New Project
Sly’s back. There have been rumblings that Sly was back in the studio working on a new project, but now the chatter has been confirmed. Not many details have been released but the title has been revealed as Bread, Fed Or Dead. Sly’s been in L.A. working with the likes of YP, Freddie Gibbs, Malik Yusef, Slim The Mobster and more.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting for something new from Sly and can’t wait to hear this one. Stay tuned, as I’m sure we’ll be hearing from Sly soon.

This past Sunday, Reebok took over Reggie’s Rock Club for their We R Chi Shoecase which featured Rockie Fresh, L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Lungz, Scheme and Alite Ent. FSD Freshman Young Giftz and 2008ighties own Calez even hit the stage for short performances. Chicago was definitely in the building as tons of artists came out to support including Sly Polaroid, Really Doe, King Louie, Chella H and more.
With giveaways and a Grey Goose-hosted bar, it was hard to keep up with all of the action but you can hit the jump to check out a few flicks.

Pic: YP, Freddie Gibbs & Sly Polaroid In The Studio
YP’s been working pretty hard on the left coast and last night was no different. Freddie Gibbs and Sly Polaroid joined YP in the studio and knocked out a new joint. G.O.O.D. Music’s own Malik Yusef also stopped by, but no word on if he’s featured on the track too.
I’ve been hearing good things about YP and his new project, so definitely keep an ear out for that.
