Cover Art: Yung Berg – Chicago Redemption
Berg brings it back to the crib for his new project, Chicago Redemption, hosted by DJ MoonDawg. The Yung’in recruits some of Cook County’s finest for the LP, as he’s assisted by Malik Yusef, Mikkey Halsted, Twista, Naledge, Paypa, Pistol Pete, Bo Deal, Tree, MarVo, Co-Still, Do or Die and more.
Yep, it’s a family affair. June 4 is the release date — so keep an open eye for leaks and additional info. Berg’s redemption song is on the way.
J. Clark – Rock iT
Produced by Micah Anthony
On June 12, the world will get J. Clark’s COMPLEX’D MELODY project. “Rock iT” is first leak from said project. Are you rocking with iT?
50 Cent x Jeremih – Planet 50
50 and DJ Drama’s solid Gangsta Grillz effort, The Lost Tape, dropped today. I’m a Curtis fan, so I’m enjoying what him and Dram did here. One of the standouts is the Jeremih-featured “Planet 50.” I wonder if it’s in the same galaxy as “Snoop World”? Nah, right?
Download The Lost Tape here.

eGo – Louie On My Belt Loop [Prod. by C-Sick]
“FSD anything I do”
eGo’s new project, Vicodin, is on the way. But until then, check out this short and sweet track produced by C-Sick.
Lili K – Come In [Prod. by Thelonious Martin]
Thelonious Martin provides Lili K with a smooth backdrop for her new single. Who’s Lili, you ask? Well, those female vocals you hear on Chance The Rapper’s “Hey Ma”? That’s her. She also assisted Naledge on his track “Broke No More”, which surfaced last month.
Lili’s new project, Metal Petals, should be arriving this summer. Until then, enjoy this one. Also, Lili’s going to be live at Shrine this Thursday, so be sure to check her out. Grab tickets here and peep the details below.

Treated Crew – LL Cool
Ladies Love Cool James, but they also love the Treated Crew. And as Treated Tuesday’s roll on, today we get another heater from the collective. Produced by Mike Jaxx, “LL Cool” features (in order of appearance) Hollywood Holt, Mic Terror, Show You Suck, Million $ Mano and Gzus Piece. What’s cooler than that? Life, Honor, Love, Power. And yes, if you’re keeping score at home, this is the second Uncle L sample of the day. Gotta love it.
For a CDQ of last week’s release, “Formal Introduction,” hit the hump.
Ludacris – Jingalin’ [Prod. by Da Internz]
Da Internz terror continues, as they nabbed the first single from Ludacris’ upcoming project, Ludaversal. The duo first played us this record in the FSD offices a few weeks ago, and it’s a certified hit. Check it out now — go ‘head, baby.
Video: Lupe Fiasco Talks Food & Liquor 2, Pete Rock, Chicago Hip-Hop & More
Fresh off the release of his new single, Lupe hit WGCI’s The Morning Riot to talk about a few things including his upcoming album, Pete Rock, his creative process and the youth movement in Chicago’s hip-hop scene. Lu has some great words for the younger Chicago artists here.
Lu also says Pete Rock gave the track his blessings when he initially reached out. Interesting.
Twista – She Sluggin’
Produced by The Legendary Traxster.
Twista’s keeping the new music coming as he prepares to release the Don Cannon-hosted Twista Reloaded and his new album, The Dark Horse. Not sure what “sluggin’” means? Well, Twista’s going to break it down for you.
