Finally, a solid release date for The Cool Kids debut EP, The Bake Sale. Word from Chuck Inglish is that the EP will be available on May 20, and feature the hits “Black Mags”, “88”, plus some never-before-heard material.
Chuck also announced that The Cool Kids will be releasing a new mixtape in two weeks featuring “all new jump offs for the summer” that will be available on their website: http://www.coolxkids.com/ . Also, a preview of said mixtape will be available tomorrow (so definitely check back for that).
Update: According to the Cool Kids myspace blog, their upcoming mixtape is to be titled That’s Stupid and their official long player is due out this fall and the working title is When Fish Ride Bicycles. Also, look out for their second video dropping very soon – I’ve seen about 30-40 seconds of it and it’s gonna be crazy. Trust me.
