J. Ivy continues to make a splash since returning to Chicago a few weeks ago. His Black Swan showcase last Saturday night was a huge success, and last night he ripped Jay iLLa’s birthday bash, prior to Slum Village taking the stage. Today he got a pretty serious feature in the Sun Times spin off, the Southtown Star.
In the feature, the Star discusses the Grammy award-winning poet’s new Saturday night live poetry showcase as well as stacks up his accolades – including working with Kanye West and Martha Stewart.
