First and foremost, the lineup in the picture above is just crazy. If we could only get everyone back together for one track, the world would be a better place. I won’t hold my breath, though.
Anyhoo, all praises to GLC for unleashing this never-before-heard heater. Recorded in 1996 (yes, 2Pac was still alive), and produced by a young Kanye West, The Outfit was an early version of the Go-Getters. Here, GLC, Timmy G and Arrows Starr all drop their individual verses, while Kanye supplies the hook. Classic material.
