I’d first like to start my post by giving a big f*** you to Lollapalooza for denying me a press pass. They probably knew I was just trying to get in for free, because most of the hip hop acts this year suck balls. Seriously. I mean, I saw Snoop at the Up in Smoke Tour back in the summer of 2000, and that pretty much did it for me. I guess I’ll see him again, though. Who else? Exactly.
An exception to that last statement? He Say, She Say and Hollywood Holt, who both have sets this year that I will be supporting (I’ll still be going to Lolla on someone’s dime, though). I saw all three of them last year at Mano’s set, and this year they’ll have an even bigger and better platform. I definitely encourage everyone to go and support our local talent, because the Lolla folks didn’t look out too hard for the Chi this year.
And kick a worker in the shins for me. How dare you come to the land of FSD and try and treat me and other Chicago artists.
