R.I.P. Crazy 8
Here’s the first video release off Grant Parks Comp. The Moment Of Clarity, “Top of the World”. This is one of the last songs Grant Parks produced and recorded with Crazy 8 and rhyming partner First Mic before Crazy 8’s life was tragically taken earlier this year. Grant saw it fit to add “Top Of The World” to his latest compilation as a tribute. Cousin to Rhymefest, Crazy 8 knew what it took and had a very promising future. Take a moment in retrospect as Crazy 8 & First Mic tell an eerie story and raps what seems to be his own life in this song.
June 4th 2009 Miguel Russell a.k.a Crazy 8’s life was Tragically taken and his dream of being one day on top of the world was shattered. Hip hop has lost yet another soon to be great.He has left behind a loving Mother, his kids, a long list of family and close friends.
