Wow. Newsense (of Psychodrama) hops on the Salty Train and puts Twista, R. Kelly, Common, Shawnna and Lupe Fiasco on blast for their lack of participation and guidance of Chicago’s youth. Apparently she asked all of the aforementioned artists to help (in one way or another) at her youth center, and none of them came to action.
Later in the video she does give props to GLC, DJ Geno, Rhymefest and Talib Kweli for supporting her program.
I know that Twista does ‘Monday Night with the Kids’ and Common has his ‘Common Ground Foundation’, so they do their part in the community, but it seems Newsense feels a certain way about them. Pretty scathing.
