Video: Mikkey Halsted, Rhymefest, Twone Gabz & Juice Announce New Group + “4,3,2,1” Live

Posted on February 1, 2010 by Andrew Barber

Last night, during Rhymefest’s set at the SOLD OUT Every Drop Counts Haiti benefit at Reggie’s, Che brought out Mikkey Halsted, Twone Gabz & Juice (Juice and ‘Fest have never shared the stage peacefully) to perform their track “4,3,2,1” which is going to be featured on Jay iLLa’s Revenge of the Backpacks 2 mixtape.

After the performance of the song, ‘Fest announced that these four emcees are going to form a yet-to-be-titled supergroup, and are prepping an album for summer release.  I hope this project comes to fruition, and doesn’t turn into a Dr. Dre/Ice Cube-esque “Helter Skelter” project.

And thanks to everyone who came out to support the Every Drop Counts benefit.  You are appreciated.

Props: RHTV
