Video: Freddie Gibbs – Boxframe Cadillac Live @ Pitchfork SXSW Showcase

Posted on April 7, 2010 by Andrew Barber

If you don’t like this song then you may not have ears.

Says Archie:

Since Freddie was the only hip hop act on the Pitchfork Showcase, the crowd was all alt rocker fans and the only full hip hoppers that were there, were all of the people on stage with us… Because of that, we wanted to send out some footage from the showcase to prove that it actually did occur… Here’s “Boxframe Cadillac” which closed out the show… Even in 35 degree weather, in an outside venue, Freddie’s adrenaline was pumping enough where he took off his shirt and didn’t die of pneumonia on the spot…

Sidenote: I see some of Chi’s finest on stage with Gibbs
