I peed an early copy of this mixtape, which is hosted and mixed by the homie Jay iLLa, and iLLa does a good job of blending the instrumentals Onis is flowing over with the classics they were drawn from. Although I don’t care much for people rapping over industry beats (I prefer originals – sorry!), Onis does a good job of picking beats from the Golden Era, as well as tracks that are oft overlooked and rarely rocked over. I’ll take it. Give it a spin and check out the newest member of the Stay Humble camp…
