Uh oh. Earlier today, WBMZ Radio unleashed the SC-produced “Runnin’ My City”, featuring the lost Bump J verse. And as you can imagine, Bump splits it wide open. Remind me to tell you that story one day. Ha!
Funny enough, I’ve been talking to Bump on almost a daily basis as of late, getting the full story on his situation and what he’s been up to. The Chief and I have some surprises for you, so be on the lookout for that interview and feature coming soon.
As you know, Mikkey’s The Dark Room drops tomorrow, and you can check out my preview with the tracklisting and production credits here. The album will be available tomorrow morning (12.21.10) on iTunes at 9am CST, but if you can hunt down one of the limited edition USB Dark Room bands, you should – it features the album, all of Mikk’s videos as well as pictures. Also, a remix of “Runnin’ My City” is planned, featuring some new emcees from a few cities that weren’t repped here. Stay tuned.
