Video: The Making of Kanye West’s “Homecoming” [Unreleased]

Posted on December 7, 2010 by Andrew Barber

The homie Danny Joe Sorge, of Channel Zero fame, unearthed some rare and unreleased footage of Kanye West filming “Homecoming” on location in Chicago back in November of 2007. The day long video shoot, directed by Hype Williams, brought to life Ye’s dedication to his hometown, and now see all the blood sweat and tears that went into it. It features some super rare air time of Kanye and Bump J, Kanye & Wildstyle (of Crucial Conflict), Kanye & Malik Yusef, and cameos from Don C, Virgil Abloh, Ibn Jasper, Morocco Vaughn and the students of Orr High School.

Shout to Danny Sorge for the footage.
