I’d be lying if I said I’ve enjoyed the last few Snoop Dogg tracks that have leaked off his Doggumentary album. None of them have connected with me whatsoever. Until this one dropped, that is. Sounding more Detox than the actual tracks leaked from Detox (which could be a total mess), this is the Snoop I’m looking for. The Snoop I enjoy. Not to mention, DJ Khalil is making better Dre beats than Dre.
Pairing back up with Devin the Dude, whom he’s collabed with on “Fuck You” and “What A Job”, Snoop also enlisted Chicago-crooner Kobe, who’s been on fire lately, to lace the hook. Kobe, who’s making a run to fill Nate Dogg’s shoes (at least anytime DJ Khalil is involved), could be having the best year ever. It’s just too bad they didn’t invite him to be in the video – much like Devin when his verse was cut from the “Fuck Faces” video some 12 years ago. Oh well, I thought it deserved a post anyway. 99 problems…

Sounds like Devin’s verse was recorded in a garbage studio or something though.
Doesn’t match with the quality of everything else.
