So, Lupe records what the label tells him to, produces a pop record complete with autotune and rampant rock riffs and sells like crazy. Is he going to go back to making lyrical hip hop or sell out further? Immortal Technique would have never allowed this. All I know is Pharoahe Monche’s WAR is what Lupe’s album should have been and I will be at stores on March 22.
