Late last week, Lupe was back in his hometown of Chicago on the promo run for his third album, Lasers. Elephilms, in association with Smash Brothers and Atlantic Records were granted all access to Lupe’s endeavors while in Chicago and followd him throughout his hectic schedule. Here’s a birds eye view into the life of a hip-hop superstar.
The Smash Brothers x Atlantic Records x Elephilms presents – Lupe Fiasco: Lasers in Chicago. We did this video while having all access to Lupe on his promo tour endeavors in Chicago. These were his activities over the course of one day. We wanted to show everyone the hard work and grind that an artist goes through to promote an album, the love artists get from fans, and how artists help in the community. Here we see Lupe attending King High School and going into the classroom and interacting with the children at 11am. We also catch Lupe at an Ebony/Jet Magazine photo shoot, at his in-store at FYE, and talking about his album at WGCI.
