Kamilah Sumner – Never Bring Me Down

Posted on May 25, 2011 by Andrew Barber

Ms. Sumner has been relatively quiet lately, but she’s been hard at work on her upcoming album, The Soulstress, as well as lending her vocals to Killer Mike’s new project Pl3dge (on the track “Everything) as well as a few other top secret ventures.

Here’s a new track that Kamilah submitted to Coors Light as part of their ‘The Search for The Coldest’ contest. You can go support her in the contest here, and download the song.

That Heart of a Lion and LaLa Land was cold as hell!!! Even though Heart of a Lion was over that Ye beat.. I still fucked wit it cause it was cold.. But this, even though I like it. It don’t set her apart like those 2 records did… It has to much of that Amarie, Sun Shine Anderson feel to it… I felt like I took a time machine back to 2002, 2003….. But that’s my opinion…
