No I.D. on the track, let the story begin.
While waiting on Mikkey Halsted’s project, The Dark Room, the e-streets were set ablaze with his single “The Exorcist”. It wasn’t the first time some had heard the sample-driven track, though. The intro from Mick Luter’s My Word album featured the same No I.D.-produced joint. As soon as Mikk’s version dropped here, rumblings began of how the two tracks sounded familiar. I wouldn’t mind hearing the story behind this one myself, but none of us may ever know what happened. Both artists made the beat their own in my opinion, but who do you think really killed it? The story behind this is simple NOID gives the same beats tall everybody… You could do a whole mixtape series of dupilcate beats that NOID gave out lol
