Sly P. & The Supremes? Believe it.
Sly’s “Stone Love” was definitely one of my favorite tracks from his Honor Me mixtape and I’ve always wondered where the sample came from. Turns out, it was The Supremes’ “Stoned Love”. That just leaves one more question. Was that the same track Kanye utilized on “Stoned”, the unfinished track he produced for Sly? Who knows. I believe so, but I could be wrong.
