Posted on June 21, 2011 by FSD Staff

HipHopDX is reporting that Freddie Gibbs and East coast-based DJ/producer Statik Selektah will be recording an entire album at a Brooklyn studio tomorrow, June 22nd. The catch being that the fellas will record an entire album within a 24-hour time frame. The album, Lord Giveth, Lord Taketh Away, will then hit iTunes this Friday, June 24th. Guest features are expected!

The folks over at XXL Magazine will be streaming the entire event. Be sure to catch all the action at XXLMag.com.

Statik Selektah has recorded similar projects in the past with rappers Freeway and Saigon. Recall, Selektah produced a few joints for Gibb’s Str8 Killa, No Filla mixtape too.
