What exactly did Fox News edit out? Once again, Lupe did not seem very informed on the topic which he so brazenly spoke about in an earlier interview. To think that the only reason we went to Afghanistan was to capture OBL just showed that.

This interview was on point! Lupe brought up a good deal of great points that were relevant, but O’reilly just wanted to play devils advocate . You can tell that most of the interview was edited especially at the end. And to all the people below that say Lupe was just rambling…When was the last time you used your voice to make a political statement on one of the most controversial shows in America.

That shit wasn’t edited… Lupe is just that stupid and ignorant. He knows he fucked up saying that terrorist shit, but doesn’t want to own up and say “yeah, I was outta line”. Instead, he tried to make it sound like he meant it with a poetic nuance. That’s him trying cop out of talking like an adult. Instead, he sounded like a complete rambling psycho. Making these very vague nonsensical statements. O’reilly owned you Lu.

A+ for effort to Lupe. O’Reilly’s only qualm was that younger voters may actually listen to Lupe’s opinion. That’s the part that makes Lupe dangerous to dominant discourse. Keep talking that shit, Lupe. Agitation is a component of dissolving hegemony. All in all, I think that went pretty easy on each other.

Lupe was speaking from the point of what the powers at be stated was the U.S.’s reasoning for being in Afghanistan. When everything started it was about Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. And that was stated to the American people. And anytime anyone spreads fear through acts of violence or threat is on some terrorist ish. Them lil’ cats robbing on the ‘El are terrorists. Somebody killing their own people for power is a terrorist action. Somebody using force to control your mind and fear to keep you bound is a terrorist action. To be in a position of power in any country outside of Brazil (which doesn’t have an army but has oil reserves) you have to use terror and spread propaganda. Lupe was right, but he wasn’t politically correct from a “black” standpoint.

“Lupe was right, but he wasn’t politically correct from a “black standpoint” Come on. What does that even mean? The vagueness of his initial comments were just ridiculous and showed that he was less than informed on the topic of politics, period. Also, we’re turning a guy who DOESN’T EVEN VOTE’ into some sort of political pundit, which is as asinine as his original comments about POTUS Obama. “Really, it was about some oil that we could just get on our own” Is that so, Lupe? It’s funny, because when members of the right simply insinuate that Obama is less than forthright about anything (which is a far lesser insult than calling someone a terrorist) the liberal, mainstream media jumps down their throats. O’Reilly just doesn’t like that Lupe is spreading misinformation to dozens of thousands of young, still mostly impressionable minds. And anyone with a grain of common sense shouldn’t either.

I never really liked Lupe’s music but he seems to love talking about things he has no experience in. Like skateboarding. And Anarchy. It really bothers me that he calls Obama a terrorist and then lives in the US and enjoys the freedoms of being a rich asshole when there are terrorist leaders who’d be more than happy to cut his head off for criticizing them.

Does Lupe understand that Bin Laden DIDN’T actually hijack the plane on 9/11 himself and then parachuted out before impact? And that there were actually a network of thousands that were also complicate in the attacks? I didn’t think these things had to be explained to an adult. But here we are, right?

You all are lost. Lupe is speakin on American foreign policy that AMERICANS directly benfit from — even tho 90% of them/us dont know it at all. The USA is in no less than 30 countries under false pretenses to rob them of their natural resources. You guys are caught up on language…the term terrorist. To those 30 countries WE ARE THE TERRORISTS! We are on their land – making a profit while contaminating their drinkin water and providing ZERO jobs while we take whatever we want from their country. Read about the Panama Canal (from the 70s). Case in point. A lot of you — MOST of you dont even have the knowledge needed to even comment on a story like this. Seriously. Lupe is NOT wrong. The wording is harsh but its TRUE. Obama re-enstated the Patriot Act that BUSH wrote. Obama’s entire cabinet is made up of Wall Street types that have done nothing but ROB the American people. he is a politician. A puppet. If he had REAL power – the Patriot Act would have been abolished….Reparations for descendants of slaves wouldnt be a gigantic joke….. Study before you attempt to make an educated response without the needed education. Bottom line is that, aside from Obamacare, Barack is pushing the same agenda George Bush did. Sad, but that doesnt make it any less true.

And i find it so fucking odd that Lupe is so willing to lop all americans together in one big stereotype when just as a few months ago he was getting mad when republicans lopped all muslims as terrorists. He’s a hypocrite. And no, I don’t buy into everything I hear. I can make a clear cut opinion on my own without having someone telling me what to think, unlike lupe’s fans. eh… it’s like arguing that the person filling up their car with gas is a terrorist. The act of purchasing gas is not a terrorist act but that money that they pay may go to support one.

Maybe your lute just went to purchase a new oil rig… or maybe it went to burning a village in nigeria to get a point across… one is a terrorist act the other is business…. so it’s just easier to label it as “the root” that person is not the terrorist but they are providing the terrorist with money.

So a person that hides a pedophile from prosecution is not as guilty as the pedophile?

I say they are equally as guilty…and so do the general rules of society. Lying by omission doesnt mean you’re not a liar. If u see someone being raped and you do nothing, you didnt necessarily rape the person but from the victim’s point of view, do you think it matters? All that matters is u didnt help…and u couldve stopped it.

Point was, to the people that resort to blowin themselves up, we ARE terrorists.

      Kinda exactly my point… it’s arguing degree’s right…

But i guess my judgement is on the side that pedophilia is a worse crime than hiding a pedophile. They’re both bad.. but one is worse than the other… I even think in society this is the case… the pedophile would get a harsher sentence then the person who hid them. Difference between murder and accessory. Neither in my mind is the proper way to act but should we classify them differently… I would say yeah.

i get ur point tho that in the end doing the wrong thing is doing the wrong thing.

I agree he’s entering an arena way beyond him… You can’t go on TV rocking big ass shades..supporting consumerism and make a real argument against exploitation.

He should acknowledge that if he pays taxes he’s a terrorist also. I don’t think the statement is over the top or incorrect but if your want to take the moral high ground you got to play the part and make the hard sacrifices otherwise your always going to be open to just criticism.

He should have went the route of arguing that there are more peaceful ways to solve terrorism. When you kill innocent civilians you are a terrorist in my mind. The USA just has a more pleasant term casualties. You can’t fight ideological violence with more violence.

Actually…everything aside from the “He’s entering an arena” part — lol

He’s not running for office or pushing a political agenda. he’s attempting to explain why HE WROTE a lyric. They are asking – he is attempting (and failing) to answer ON THEIR TERMS. So he looks foolish, in a sense. Lupe is coming from the angle that WE have some idea of what he’s talkin about already and the average American has NO IDEA about the things he is trying to convey in a 5 minute segment. Bill O’Reilly understands how to LEAD sheep. Lupe does not have that understanding and so his message is garbled and awkward even tho WHAT he is trying to convey is a truism.

griffen dropping the truth… Fox is wrong for editing sure, that was to be expected. Lupe was unable or unwilling to connect his analysis of US foreign policy, to the psychic terror which led us into Afghanistan. The people who EXECUTED the 9/11 attacks, all died on 9/11, and it was our stated goal to remove the leadership of the group that led us there. Lupe could have said simply ‘there are other ways of express our national power that doesn’t involve invading other nations’. Or he could have said the US doesn’t just deploy that force overseas, that they use and abuse power inside the country arbitrarily, and it is not just a question of American foreign policy. Or he could have said that Fox News exists to justify a national narrative that supports an ideological knee jerk reaction to events in the world.

He didnt say any of that. He could of. Instead he acted like an emotional high school freshman arguing with Bill-O about whether or not Lupe has the RIGHT to make any political statement, not the substance of that statement. I can understand that not voting, or casting a blank ballot itself can be a political statement, but the entire segment above was basically ‘you dont have the right to say anything about politics’ and ‘yes i do. wahhh’.

    Lupe lost.

I understand everyone’s concern for the term terrorist being used to describe the first man of color allowed into to the powerful position of President of the United States, but I totally agree with Griffen312. If we were placed on the other end of that spectrum, and a foreign country invaded, pillaged, and destroyed our country, you too would call those people terrorists. Lupe at no point in this interview had the floor and was spoken over every time he attempted to speak. He never really had an opportunity to fully explain him self clearly. And don’t by any means think that Lupe is SO TOTALLY UNINFORMED about the subject matter nor that this interview was in any way, shape, or form an attempt by Bill O’Reilly or Fox News to un-muddy President Obama’s “good name”. This interview took place for the sole purpose of creating division within not only the black community, but also the VERY powerful hip hop community, that includes people from all walks of life and who were actually the leading force in getting President Obama elected. Notice he never asked Lu about the portion of his song where flat out calls Bill O’Rielly a racist… It was unimportant to Bill O’reilly to clear his own name but he’s SO offended by Lupe slandering Obama??? Right….

Nobody gives a fuck about hip-hop anymore, and its “power”….hip-hop community didnt get Obama elected….the liberal agenda and the fact that most of his voters were Generation X and Y kids who had been for years searching for some way to rebel against their Baby Boomer parents generation and make their mark in history. What better way than to elect the type of individual than the person that their parents have raised them for years to hate-A BLACK MAN!!! @ Griffen You are completely missing the point my friend…its not about if Lupe was right or wrong because reality is this, everything he said was all opinion and an uneducated opinion at that. Lupe doesnt have a degree from any institution or equal experience in the political arena to even make reasonable assumption about the happenings in that area. Lupe has arrogantly talked himself in a corner that he cant get out of now. And the fact that you are defending him shows me you are either just as stupid or embaressed for him so much that you jump to his defense to save face. You don’t make such a bold statement as “Obama is a terrorist” without concrete facts, dates, and events to back it up. Lupe and his esoteric philosophies, half-baked conspiracy theories, and deep analytical blurbur does not fly in the intellectual community….and yes Bill O’Reilly is apart of that community he is a Boston University Grad and a Harvard Grad…that is an area where proven facts are the only thing that count. If you cannot back it up with concrete evidence then it is written off as a joke…and this is exactly what he did to Lupe, wrote him off as a joke because he is. Lupe ran in to a monster that he couldn’t handle and he wasn’t prepared for. I’m glad O’Reilly did it, I knew Lupe wasn’t prepared to back his rant up. If Lupe wants to be in that arena he needs to go back to school, pay his dues, and climb the ladder the correct way….just because you sell a couple albums worldwide to a bunch of kids with no solid understanding of the adult world doesnt mean you are a political analyst.

—-> Dude. How is it NOT about right and wrong? Thats what its ALL about! And it is ALL an opinion, (including O’Reilly’s POV) just like its our OPINION that they are terrorists in the first place!! In THEIR opinion WE are the terrorists and THEY are the freedom fighters retaliating… for every FACT you have of a “terrorist” act by an outsider, there are an equal number of acts of terror that were carried out by the United States.

Lupe doesnt have a degree from any institution or equal experience in the political arena —

—–>Neither did Chuck D or KRS-One before they started rappin. You dont need a degree to see, just open eyes.

And the fact that you are defending him shows me you are either just as stupid or embaressed for him so much that you jump to his defense to save face.

——> Im neither. Im far from stupid and Lupe didnt just win my vote for anything. He made a blanket statement that, when broken down correctly, I agree with.

….and yes Bill O’Reilly is a part of that community he is a Boston University Grad and a Harvard Grad…that is an area where proven facts are the only thing that count.

——-> You’re kidding, right? FOX News is all about FACTS, eh? Bill O’Reilly is all about facts? The FACT that u even mention that he graduated from Harvard is laughable. i dont givva fuck is he graduated from the University of God Almighty, it doesnt make him any more right about anything. Its a piece of paper.

If you cannot back it up with concrete evidence then it is written off as a joke…

——> Thats actually true. You are basing your entire opinion off of a 4-minute news segment, tho. The amount of evidence you require would take hours upon hours to convey. Lupe should have had some notes. He was grossly unprepared.

If Lupe wants to be in that arena he needs to go back to school, pay his dues, and climb the ladder the correct way….just because you sell a couple albums worldwide to a bunch of kids with no solid understanding of the adult world doesnt mean you are a political analyst.

———> Lupe didnt claim to be a political analyst. He claimed to be an artist with an opinion. He was asked to explain a lyric. Period. He didnt do a Donald Trump and call a press conference and call Obama a terrorist. He wrote a song.

———-> Every movement in America that mattered was ARTIST-DRIVEN, not politician-driven. Social change has never been ushered in by politicians…it has always been the artists as the artist are DIRECTLY connected to the people. Without a Harvard or Yale degree Lupe has as much right as Bill O’Reilly to speak his opinion based on what HE HAS SEEN or experienced. I dont defend him beyond that. Im not even a Lupe fan. I own one album by the guy. For you to chalk up all differing opinions to yours up as “stupid” is pretty fuckin stupid, by the way. While u are saluting O’Reilly — he was spreading more propaganda wit the “The War in Afghanistan was to get the guys that attacked us on 9/11” he is lost. The war in Afghanistan is about Opium. But, you suckin his dick cuz he went to Harvard?

“He made a blanket statement that, when broken down correctly, I agree with. ”

But HE didnt “BREAK IT DOWN CORRECTLY” …and thats the whole point my friend. If you make a statement and get called out on it and you cant “break it down correctly” shut the fuck up!!! Im not here to argue about what Lupe said because I understand his side thoroughly. But if I know you murdered someone across the street, but cant articulate what happened in court, then guess what….my testimony is NO GOOD!! Its as simple as that, attorneys get murderers to walk out of court everyday because of the lack of hardcore evidence and witnesses who are not credible. Lupe Fiasco is a witness who is not credible. Bill O’Reilly pretty much put his ass on the stand, cross examined him, let him explain himself and destroy his credibility in front of the jury….AKA his audience and now the Internet. Lupe witnessed a crime, told the DA, but folded in court. He got lawyered by Bill O’Reilly. Whether he is right or wrong is not the argument….the fact that he made a claim and could not back it up EFFECTIVELY with facts!!! Not Griffen, but Lupe!!!….just because GRIFFEN can articulate Lupe’s rant means nothing….Lupe is an adult now and he has to be responsible for that. And he will pay the consequences for running his mouth, and he lost his chance to defend himself, has lost respect, and will be the laughing stock for a long time…because he went against some forces unprepared.

But when you attempt to analyze politics and get on a public platform in front of a listening audience, then you will be thrusted in that direction as a political analyst whether you like it or not. And if you don’t want to be seen as such- keep your mouth shut. Lupe is uneducated in the subject of politics and world affairs compared to the people who make a living in that field. He should have declined that interview and made a written statement to clear his name. To debate with Bill O’reilly a man who does this on a daily basis and has forgotten more political/world affairs information than Lupe ever remembered was the dumbest move Mr.Fiasco ever made.

“Suckin his dick cuz he went to Harvard”
You sound young and inexperienced in the world. I dont really think you understand the magnitude and what it means to be accepted and attend Harvard and what that says about your ability to think and understand complex concepts. Harvard isnt top notch for absolutely NO reason. if “sucking someone’s dick” is your street equivalent to honoring and respecting that individual….than yes I guess Im sucking his dick. Because I just watched this man turn Lupe into a babbling idiot with little to no effort.

Enjoy your Fiasco cock meat sandwich man, move to Cuba if you’re tired of living in a country run by terrorists. He’s not interesting and he’s trying to poison the minds of ignorant youth who already know nothing about politics and the world outside of the 3 channels they watch on their television sets when he has suffered from none of this terrorism, he has only benefited from it. If he really feels this way he needs to spend his money gaining knowledge on the world and funding some rebel group or something. He’s a rich kid who wants to look cool by dissing the establishment that made him that way. This man got famous at 24 from a song that’s about something he’s never done, now he’s 29 trying to get some more fame and look edgy talking about something he knows nothing about.

As much as I hate to say it Bill O’Reilly sh*t upon him, even if he preaches BS on his Faux News show he still knows more politicians and more news pundits and journalists than Lupe knows and it’s actually kind of insulting that he was even brought in to waste dude’s time. He did sound like a little kid trying to oversimplify the situation, if America weren’t here there would still be terrorism around the world. If America weren’t here there would still be war. There just wouldn’t be all sorts of fun things like the Internet and basketball and franchised restaurants.

I really hated Bill O’Reilly before this interview but I just gained so much respect for him, he may be a sensationalist but at least he’s not an ignorant subversive hipster.

“Because you cant articulate the truth doesnt make it any less true. Your issue is with the messenger, not the message itself. Fuck the messenger — read the message….and continue on your journey.”

Its called CREDIBILITY!! Lupe lost not because what he said was false or true….but because he did not effectively convey what he felt was truth. He made a blanket statement that pretty much convicted a man as being a terrorist….but when he was given the platform to PROVE IT….he could not do it. O’reilly didnt defend Obama because he likes Obama or because he wants to pin black vs black. O’Reilly just seen what everybody with half a brain a seen, another motherfucker running his mouth about some shit he has NO CLUE about…..and guess what Im going to-just for shits and giggles- call him out on it just to see if he can back his shit up. And guess what?? O’Reilly was right….because he couldnt back it up.

That is what this whole thing is about

NOW, if Lupe would have went on the air and came up with some real facts, dates, events, and his thoughts were organized. And he actually had something to back up his claims that made sense and he knew what he was talking about and was less defensive-then O’Reilly would have fell back like maybe he knows something we dont. But Lupe couldnt even convey basic knowledge of why we went to Afghanistan. O’Reilly fuckin schooled him like a professor. EPIC FAIL!!!

O’Reilly never falls back…even when debating an opponenet with credibility.

My comments are issue-based — your comments are debate-style based. I could give a fuck about debate style.

I am not recommending Lupe for an award. My original statement was “HE IS NOT WRONG”.

I dont have to be a fireman to know a building is on fire and I dont have to wait for a “professional” to try to save lives. I may not be the best at it — but if no one else is around (sayin somethin) what do u do?

But we live in a fact driven society. We live in a capitalist country where corporations make claims all day via advertisements. When you live in a society driven by money…you hear all kinds of claims and propositions….therefore we are reared to hear facts that back your claims up. Not only that, our judicial system is based on fact finding and evidence. What if a bitch you only kissed and made out with yesterday ran to the police and claimed “Griffen raped me” and then it went to court. The bitch gets on the stand to prove her case and starts saying all kinds of non-sensical shit and cant describe your room, or the obvious mole on your dick, or the tattoo on your upper left thigh….your attorney eats her ass up because she proved herself to not be credible and a liar. So you win and get to go home and escape a 30 year sentence. Why??? Because she couldnt back her claims with facts and evidence to convince the jury that she was credible. Then later on it comes out that her father looked exactly like you and molested her and somehow in her mind she was convinced that getting you locked up was her way of getting back at him……CREDIBILITY AND FACTS IS EVERYTHING IN AMERICA!!! Same with Lupe he made a claim that Barack was a terrorist, he went to the court of Bill O’Reilly and was proven not a credible witness…therefore what he claimed gets thrown out of court and Obama goes home to his 2 kids and Michelle. This is why the messenger is just important as the message, not everybody is credible and if people can prove you not credible than what you said means NADA!! O’reilly’s strategy was to make Lupe look like a nutcase rapper with some far out ideologies….a complete joke….and it was easy for him to do it with Lupe’s help….because at the end of the day THAT’S WHAT LUPE IS!!!

Man what the fuck are u talkin about?

The same judicial system that let OJ off, but basically acquitted the L.A 4 ? That FAIR FACT FILLED judicial system?

This society is NOT fact oriented. Case in point – everybody knows cigarette kill – it is, indeed, a FACT – yet they are still legal and people still smoke them.

A lot of people have lied in court…and WON. A lot of people have told the truth AND lost. Tupac was in jail for the very shit you are describing except HE WASNT EVEN IN THE FUCKEN ROOM and he was found guilty. You mean THAT judicial system? Police officers lie in court every day using fabricated “facts” — as long as their partner backs them up — they usually when – even when they are DEAD WRONG. Yes, in THIS country!

If credibility and facts were everything in America, Rick Ross would not have a career.

PERCEPTION is everything in America. Perceived truth has more weight here than ACTUAL truisms. But Im sure you already know that. At this point – this is just an argument to argue and Im cool on that. This subject has been beaten into the ground. Regardless of all the window-dressing you are puttin on your argument the bottom line is: HE IS NOT WRONG. His approach is wrong, hell even his wardrobe is wrong — but his SUNGLASSES still dont mask the FACT that he is not wrong.

        end of story…

Griffen nobody said he was wrong or right? Stop crying like a baby…and who are you to have the determining last word if he was right. You are no politician, or a scholar, you have less credibility than Lupe. Actually to be honest after debating with you about the subject I’ve come to the conclusion that you have a victim’s mentality….always siding with the person who appears to be victimized by the “man” or the government or whoever. Quick to bitch and complain about how society is fucked up but never realizing that you actually have it good..the glass is always half empty….never really taking advantage of the million opportunities America has for you..I call it Tupac Syndrome, the reason so many black males love Tupac, he was your classic victim…He bitched about a system that made him wealthy, WTF?? If you want to see real oppression and poverty travel to a third world country, go to western Africa for a month, you will come back to America with a whole new outlook. So keep ranting like an ungrateful victim you only make yourself look more ridiculous. Its hilarious to me that in 2012 that people like you are still in existence.

To answer your question Andrew, non of the above. It wasn’t edited to make Lupe look bad. Lupe made himself look bad coming on without doing his homework.

I dunno what his beef is with Obama. Lupe always brings Obama up in interviews and is always talking shit. President Obama most likely has never even heard of Lupe Fiasco. If you asked Barrack about Lupe he’ll probably think he was a muppet or a cartoon character. And judging from this interview, he wouldn’t be too far off from the truth. Even if he did know who Lupe was, he doesn’t have time to respond or form an opinion. Because he’s too busy doing real shit. He doesn’t have time to respond to carnival barkers like Lupe Fiasco or Glenn Beck.

I don’t even think Lupe qualifies as a real “carnival barker”. Because Trump actually matters and has some real power. Lupe has NO real power to do much of anything on a grand scale. When Trump talks people in high places listen, people who have enough money and power to make huge differences quickly. Rappers have bigger egos than actual power. The only rappers with enough power to make something happen on a grand scale is Diddy, Jay-Z, and Will Smith thats about it because they not only have the money, but the connections, intelligence and respect from people who actually mean something in the business and political world. Lupe lacks money, connections, he has intelligence, but he may have just lost his respect and CREDIBILITY! So his chances of ever landing in that circle is all but dead. When you publicly go against President Obama….you can pretty much say goodnight to a lot of opportunities…..Hov may stop fuckin with Lupe after that…just on GP.

Lupe clearly lost the so called debate, that turned into two people just arguing. Lupe should have came to the table with some research or something to support his point, which isnt taht hard. As a high school grad who will be a freshman at osu and a student of history i know that the CIA has forced the change of governments throughout the cold war, look to the middle east during the 70’s. Its pretty clear the US did some terrorist activities in its past, even Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh was a popular leader for the whole country the US didn’t like that Nam was going to be under a socialist/communist gov so they started attacking Nam. Even South America/Central America the US put terrible leaders in power just because they weren’t reds. It’s a very easy point to support, lupe could have handled the situation well and made bill o’reilly look like a fool just like in this interview at the end when he was uninformed about how tides work, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BCipg71LbI . Oreilly wins his arguments by talking over people, SMH at lupe for having the opurtunity to express his point and not be prepared. O’reilly is an ass whole and lupe could have made his point and embarrassed Bill. I was a huge Lupe fan till he poorly handled his Lasers release party which i attended. I’m jewish so clearly i disagree with many of lupes political views, but i still respect them, O’reilly doesn’t try to respect anyone opinion except his own. People who said lupe should go back to backpack rapping/skateboarding whatever, are idiots, he has matured as a artist and speaking about politics is a respectable thing no matter what your views are.

O’Reilly has never been credible he is just good at arguing it does not even mean his arguments are not fallacious. Lupe fell for his tactics but its easy to get caught up in the moment and let your anger get the best of you. 5 minutes can’t even cover this conversation. It was clearly edited and to what extent i do not know but fox will always make sure to make O’Reilly look good if something is not live. Lupe fell for the tricks of a system he criticizes and wants others to be aware of. His statement was to grab your attention and you can’t say it did not when you first hear the song so as to get people to thinking why someone would say that. This debate if you can call it as such was fairly even yet it would have worked out much better with a moderator to give each person time to talk. This should have been a live debate streaming on line so as to allocate more time for it. The sad part is the so called youth is not going to really listen to this much less analyze it or reflect on the subject. It is hard to fight a system that is engrained in the mind of most of society. I agree with the message but Obama is not a terrorist he is just forced to play a role assigned by all of us and i am sure if he did what he wanted half the country would call him a tyrant. Politics is about making deals that you hate just to get a little bit of what you want.
And credibility only matters to people who know nothing about logical arguments. Attacking the arguer is a fallacy. Neither truly made a good point or argument. They were just making statements to try to quickly stump the other person.
I feel sorry for anyone who makes up their mind based on things said by famous people. Most people do not think for themselves even many of the educated ( i have seen many idiots graduate from universities…). So Lupe may have hurt his image for nothing only time will tell.
