The MC, the DJ and the Graffiti Artist are all very important to hip-hop, but these elements aren’t complete without the inclusion of the B-Boy. Unique and physically expressive, the B-Boy speaks with their body; entertains and engages with their movements.
On July 23, 2011, the best b-boys in the US will descend on Chicago, IL to do battle at the Red Bull BC One United States qualifier. The event will be held at legendary Chicago venue, the Aragon Ballroom, in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. The winner will go on to represent the US at the Red Bull BC One Finals in Russia in November of 2011. So in the words of De La Soul: the stakes is high.
The Red Bull BC One Finals take b-boying back to its roots with 1-on-1 battles between the various contestants. Trust us when we say this is one summer event you won’t want to miss.
