Video: Big K.R.I.T. On Creating “Flexin,” Says Album Due In January

Posted on October 28, 2011 by Andrew Barber

Yesterday, Big K.R.I.T. was in Chicago for the Smokers Club Tour, and while in the city, he and DJ Wally Sparks dropped by WGCI’s Coca Cola Lounge to converse with fans and sit down for an interview with DJ MoonDawg.

K.R.I.T. talks about getting T.I. “Flexin” and how the record came about, he also talks about the new Ludacris record he’s featured on, and how it feels to be an in-demand producer and featured artist.

K.R.I.T. also says his debut album Live From The Underground will be dropping at the very top of the year, and the push back was due to sample clearances and a very special guest feature “that no one will expect.” Oh, and he also goes in depth about the Pimp C comparisons. A very insightful interview…
