Chicago rap luminary E.C. Illa vanished from the music business all together in 2008, only granting a few publications (FSD included) insight to his whereabouts and goings on. Last year we caught up with ECilla for a brief interview, where he stated he had no interest in returning to the rap game. However, just this evening I caught wind of an upcoming concert in which E.C. would be performing alongside other Chicago legends.
Juice, All Natural, Mass Hsyteria, Matlock, Prime, Seel Fresh and many more will grace the stage at Sub-T on November 26, for The Great Chicago Fire show.
Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean E.C. will be recording a new album, but with him returning to the stage, it doesn’t completely rule it out. Can’t stay away like the Too $hort album?
