^ he’s saying they respect the essence of hip hop more. The essence doesn’t equal poverty, guns, flashy shit, although all of that those do have a firm place in hip hop. If you’re from the hood you know people quicker to jump on trends or club shit, shit that’s easy to find. People out in the suburbs seek real shit out, practice their graffiti, breaking, whatever and overall study the history of the culture. Not that they know the struggle better, just the history of the culture. I wasn’t feeling A$Ap at first but recently I been feeling his shit. I’m off my high horse now Peace tho!
